I was concerned about activation issues with the STEAM gift card. The local target store had discontinued the sell of such cards due to activation problems. Not at Best Buy, the recipient was very happy!!! Highly recommend this card at Best Buy.

I love being able to shop Steam without having to use my CC info as I don't know how many times I've received emails asking me about attempted access to my account from Eastern Europe. While noting is foolproof, cards are a simple way to add at least one more layer of protection.

Our grandson is a ‘gamer’ and builds his own computers. Since my husband and I are not very tech savvy, we have discovered the Steam gift cards are perfect for him. He looks forward to receiving them so he can get the stuff he wants and needs for his set up.

The directions for sign up were difficult to follow. Little to no explanation as to how to create an account. Had to figure it out by clicking on various buttons. The directions never mentioned that you had to download Steam to set up an account. Finding the game I wanted wasn't as easy as promised. Not enough explanation about the game. And, I wanted the game installed on my computer, not in the cloud. I have to sign in every time I want to play. Will not fall for this again!

Remember the good old days when you could buy a game and install it on your laptop and play it on a 5 hour flight. Well no more thanks to Steam, now you get an empty box and still have to download the game. Well now my 20 year old nephew will enjoy many new games instead of studying!

Wanting to make use of Best Buy's kinda awesome financing at $400 and above purchases and needing that little extra to get you over the top? Try a gift card. I did. It works wonderfully. It adds to your total, can be spent later, or can be given to someone else.

It's a Steam gift card, so it "works" as it should, haha. My husband loves buying Steam games, especially when they're having their big sales throughout the year. No complaints here, will keep buying these.

Physical card only not digital and certainly cannot use a best buy gift card to purchase it but. Yeah what else can I say?

Our sons love their STEAM cards and it sure beats handing them a credit card to have on file with their STEAM accounts. They are easy to find at Best Buy and work just as any gift card. The prices are fair and there is not a mark-up on them.

They had this gift card still available on Dec 24. Ordered it it was ready for pickup with in 4 hours. Drove up to the store parked called in and it was delivered to the car within 10 minutes. Only way to shop

Steam is a great place to get video games. Buy once, and go back and download again if you get a new computer or deleted the game to make room.

Love it. Obviously it does what it needs to do and i have never gotten a faulty code. Just wish they would sell digital codes through best buy

It's hard to find physical gift cards by internet, especially without a premium surcharge price. Best Buy doesn't charge extra, so this is the place to go if you want something physical to give to someone.
