Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason this got a 2 star instead of a 1 is that when it was working, the display was really nice and worked well. However, my main problem was with actually using the device for watching movies. Based on all the reviews, it appeared that you couldn't stream movies from your phone due to copyrights. So I instead hooked my Chromebook up to the projector via HDMI cable. It worked for about 15 minutes, then the screen would go blank. I tried unplugging the HDMI and switching the ports, restarting the projector, and even doing a factory reset, and it still wouldn't allow me to watch anything from my Chromebook for about 30 minutes of everything being completely turned off. I reach out to the customer service and they stated "Due to the copyright restriction from Hulu, Netflix and similar services, the content may not be mirrored or cast. Please prepare a Fire TV stick, Roku stick or Chromecast( not included), then connect it to the projector to watch the content." I'm pretty frustrated since based on the reviews on here, no one else had had this issue. I even tried a non copyrighted video and it did the same thing so I honestly don't even know if the customer service was correct. I'm planning on returning this and would advise to not purchase it unless you already have a Fire Stick, Chromecast or other similar device to stream.
