The idea was flawed from the start. Showing the origin of the quintessential Spider-Man villain excluding Spider-Man was never going to work properly. It was mildly entertaining and fun to see but not a film a film that needed to be made

Had a chance…Could’ve made up for that horrible “bane” But I guess Tom Hardy has never read a comic book in his life, Eddie Brock or trade perfectly the first 1015 minutes of the movie, then he decided to turn into a goofball

The overall plot was good, but the movie settled on high speed chases and dark fight scenes. It seems that the movie didn't know what storyline to continue, so it kept adding new directions to follow.

This is NOT great film by any stretch but it isn’t as atrocious as some would make it seem. I can’t say I’d buy it but i do feel like it’s worth renting to watch once.

Like most Sony movies without marvel, the storylines are terrible, this movie is no exception. A little entertaining but they're just feeding off of the success of MCU

The actors in my opinion did not do a good job including mister hardy. the cast was very weak and unlikeable. could have been a lot better with the right cast

Sony needs to let go of the Spidey-verse. This movie is painful in every way with a horrendous boss fight at the end. Proceed at your own risk.

Really wasn’t into this movie and that the characters were flood the acting was all right but I just couldn’t identify with the characters

Not sure what they were thinking with this movie but did not like the character and plot. Some of it was funny from a comedic perspective.

This film reminded me of what many fans don't like about DC movies - poor script with hokey dialogue. This was a waste of talented actors.

The movie itself isnt terrible. But if you already know the character, the movie will disappoint you.

For me this Marvel was not all that. My grandson liked it, want to see more. I can do without it.
