Without Venom's accurate portrayal this movie is mediocre, but thankfully this version of Venom is much more menacing and cool than the SM3 version. The plot, CGI, and characters are all horrendous. The character Venom and the action sequences are all well done. If you are already a fan of Venom you will probably like the film. If you are a casual film goer or enjoy film as art, you most likely won't like Venom.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Funny story with great characters. I hope they make another one!

I enjoyed this more than I expected. As a huge Tom Hardy fan I enjoyed his performance, it was different than a lot of his other rolls. Looking forward to the sequel.
