Could/should have been so much better.....

If it's comic book related I'm in, so I had to add Venom to my collection. The lack of connection to the MCU hurts this movie, but it made plenty of money,which means that Venom 2 is inevitable. Hopefully it will be better and connected to the Marvel universe.
