Great and funny movie.. Venom is a Great ANTI HERO

Venom was a very entertaining movie for the family

its a great movie to watch specially on weekends..

I liked this movie because it was Venom and it did have good action. Wasn't into to poorly attempted comedy, but I know they had to tone down Venom to make home some kind of hero. So over all, it was good, I bought it, and I will watch it again.

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).I would have also of liked a Venom Blu Ray 3d disc released as this was released in cinemas in a 3D option. I will now have to import the Blu Ray 3D version from overseas where it has been released,annoying!!!!

I usually agree with critics when it comes to movies. I however disagree on two major movies as of late: Bohemian Rhapsody and Venom. Bohemian Rhapsody is very disappointing and does not bring anything to the legendary band Queen, while Venom is much better than rotten tomatoes and its critics claim about it. The acting is pretty good, even if the Spider-Man rivalry is not implied at all (thanks to Sony and Marvel's off and on relationship). A must see. One regret though, the comic book version of Venom should've implied an R-rated movie.

this movie was an ok entry. first two acts were rushed and lacked pace, but tom hardy saves this movie from itself. Amazing acting job alongside venom. Overall would recommend this for comic book fans, not so much for the average viewer.

Venom definitely cashes in a bit on the superhero movie buzz but I'm not disappointed I saw this or bought it. There are still plenty of action packed, fun parts to it. I'd only recommend this to friends who I know enjoy movies for the fun factor

Looks like they should of went all in on this one like Deadpool and just made it rated R and not have any restrictions. Forgettable plot made watchable by Tom Hardy's performance. It isn't as horrible as reviews say though and is an easy watch.

First of all, the steelbook artwork is ridiculous. Kudos to the artist and Sony on that one. The movie is good, but not great. About as good as one may hope for about the Venom character without Spiderman. Big Tom Hardy fan speaking here. Hardy does a good job with the role and script he’s given. He gets to be a little silly in this film which is a bit different than his normal silent, brooding, or mysterious roles. There’s a decent attempt at a story here and nothing very surprising. You want Venom and action, you get plenty of Venom and action.

I bought Venom because I collect Marvel movies. My kids and I thought the movie was unnecessarily given horrible reviews. It was better than we thought and entertaining. Not award winning but the special effects were good and Tom Hardy was fair.

With Disney setting the bar so high for MCU movies Sony will have to up its game to compete. I don't like the fact that the movie protrays Venom as a Anti Hero when in fact he's a vile villain. If Spider Man were in the movie then mayby 5 stars.

I enjoyed the pacing of the film, the effects are great, and Tom Hardy does some awesome stuff here. It just lacked any sense of urgency and the villain was terrible. The Video is of course great and the audio track is near reference level.
