Very entertaining movie! Tom Hardy is excellent in the role of Eddie/Venom. I'm a Tom Hardy fan to begin with but here he gets the opportunity to show his lighter side as well. The 4K Atmos is amazing! I didn't think I had the capacity to see and HEAR this film but I guess I do. If you too have a good sound setup you too will be blown away by it. (I hope they star releasing more 4K with Atmos-or at least give us the option)

Ok, Tom Hardy is great, Tom Hardy is always great. The steelbook artwork is also cool. This movie is.... Yeah, this is a movie and it's watchable to a very slight degree. Nothing that's terribly great in the grand scheme of things

I must say, I was very skeptical about this and waited til it was released on 4k. I went to my Best Buy provider as usual for ALL my electronic needs and wants and purchased this film as I am very much into Comic Book Movies! I popped into my 4k player and was blown away by the graphics and story! Such a good well put together movie! I hear there is a sequel coming out, can't wait! I highly recommend this film to any comic book movie lover as you will not be disappointed! Thank you Best Buy

I didn't know what to expect when I first started watching this movie. The only thing I knew about venom we from the spider man movies. I didn't think the movie was great. It had few good moments but nothing too exciting.

I was anxious to see venom when I heard they were doing the movie. Compared to the other marvel movies, its a good watch but it feels like there is something missing. This one slightly misses it's mark but a good watch nontheless

This is really a purchase for the box art because it is beautiful to look at. The overall movie is okay never deciding if its an all-out goofy monster movie or something more serious but its worth the watch if nothing else is on

I wouldn't give this movie 4 or 5 starts, but it is mildly entertaining. Having a stand alone Venom movie is weird, and the premise feels odd, but if you like fight scenes and special effects, you won't be very disappointed.

I enjoyed this movie. It certainly was not the best movie out there, but it had a decent tempo (kept my interest), and was pretty funny. Some of it was fairly predictable and it was campy overall, but I definitely liked it.

Rumors spread this film was meant to be in the horror genre upon production. Upon seeing the trailer it obviously wasn't. I was kind of skeptical about it but it was actually a great movie. Could have been a lot better had it been rated R but it's actually a great action film with some good comedy. I watched it twice already and my parents loved it as well. The bad guy doesn't kidnap the girl like every comic movie so that was a plus for me. I recommend this film and great extras as well. Looking forward to a part 2.

I missed seeing this movie in the theater so I chose to purchase it once it came out on DVD. I was not impressed with this movie and the dry humor made it worse. I gave the movie to a friend who felt the same way.

Venom is a film many thought would fail at the box office...clearly that was not the case. It may have not done well with critics, the audiences actually enjoy this movie. My opinion is that it gets the character right, has good humor, and some great moments...but does fail to have compelling villains, story, and well Spider-Man! That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. As a fan of Venom, this sadly was his best potrayal on the big screen yet. Tom Hardy did an excellent job with both Eddie and Venom. I’d give this a 8/10

Not even close to the top of the movies coming out of the Marvel Universe, but still highly entertaining and fun. If you didn't read the comics, this movie will probably not be enjoyable. Looks great in 4k.

Movie was kinda fun to watch . You can tell that 60 percent of the budget went to the animation and not the writing . Another 20 percent to Tom Hardy for a non Mad Max performance . Also Digital copy I got was a dud

Tom Hardy and symbiote voice made this film, otherwise it would be excruciatingly average. Special effects weak in some big moments. However, the potential sequel looks intriguing. 4K sound and audio top notch.

Look, this movie isn’t particularly amazing. It was fine. I enjoy Tom Hardy and the conceptualization of Venom was pretty good. But the movie just didn’t land for me. I had no plans to buy this movie...until I saw this steel book in person. The art is really really good. I like collecting steel books, much to the chagrin of my wife and my wallet, though I really try hard to only buy movies I know I’ll watch again. This one is an exception. Honestly I may never watch this movie—maybe one time? But, wow, that art...

I enjoyed Venom! It was well done, Tom Hardy is great in the lead role. I like that he got his own movie so you can see his origin, unlike how the character was just thrown-in in the 3rd Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire. That was a horrible waste of a great character. But now Venom can be allowed to grow on his own instead of being a sidelined villain. Great movie. Can't wait for the 2nd.

I bought this for my daughter as she is a big fan of this type of movie. Her comments were that she liked it but the flick was unbearably slow until the last 20 minutes or so when the title character appears.

We like the movie. However, in this story venom was like a superhero and he is not. This is a good movie to watch with family and friends. Hopefully the secual has a superhero and it is better than this one.

I was fairly entertained, but disappointed with the origin story as a whole. I am a movie collector, so that in itself doesn't bother me too much. However, one who isn't might consider renting before buying.

Let's be honest, this movie could've been better. It was ok...but not the best. The steelbook art is what got me to buy this. I really like it. Venom is such an awesome character and I think the movie would've been better with an R rating treatment. I actually liked the movie a bit more my 2nd time around (which was this 4k disk vs the theater). Could be because I was alone this round without dragging my gf to see it...
