The dialogue is fun and the look of Venom is cool. The one thing I want to complain about is the action: too close to the camera. Hard to enjoy and see what is going on.

I wasn't sold from the trailer for this movie and after seeing it I know why. How can you have a venom movie without spider-man! Better off waiting for into the spider-verse.

I enjoyed this movie when I rented it and streamed it a couple of months ago so when I saw that Best Buy had the blu-ray available to purchase I didn't hesitate to grab myself a copy. My only complaint is that it didn't come with a slipcover, but it's an older movie so I understand.

This movie doesn’t suck. But it’s not really good either. Tom Hardy does a good job playing Eddie Brock and it’s fairly entertaining. Don’t think the adaptation is that good

Doesn't hold up to modern Marvel movies like Avengers. Also doesn't follow the original comic book story of Eddie Brock/Venom. Once you get past that, the movie isn't bad.

The movie was fun to watch, with some dark areas as well as some humor to keep it flowing. The only complaint is that there is no development at all on the aliens and history on why there is conflict. Within the comics there is quite a lot, but with the movie none of that is apparent, which leaves the ones who haven't read any comics in the dark as to what is happening other than aliens trying to kill earth. Still a fun flick, but I hope there is more forthcoming to maybe pull in some of the back history.

Pretty “ok” movie. Overall the action is pretty good, but the dialogue is a little elementary and, as most critics said, it would’ve been better if it was rated “R”...

Kind of twisted up the location/back story from the comic book, but still a decent movie. Far and away better than Tophet Grace’s portrayal in the 2007 Spider Man 3!

After watching previews / ads, I didn't think I'd like this film; but I really like most Tom Hardy films, so I thought I'd watch it once. I was pleasantly surprised to find it much better than I expected, so I purchased this 4K version. Tom Hardy was an excellent choice to cast for the lead role. His wit and humor really make this film shine. Looking forward to the teased sequel with Woody Harrelson.

I was pleasantly surprised a venom movie was able to work without having Spider-Man to play off. Still the movie has its issue but it’s a fun popcorn flick.

Another day, another comicbook movie. When will it end?? So after the somewhat dismal iteration of Venom in 'Spider-Man 3' Sony went back to the drawing board.

The 4K scan offers sharp visuals. Not the best movie, but it entertains once the first act is over and the best performance goes to digital effects for Venom.

We are big fans of the Marvel movies. This movie was not originally on our watch list, but we finally decided to add it to our collection, and it turned out to be a really good movie. Tom Hardy was perfect for this role, and it was a great story, portrayed very well. We recommend adding Venom to your Marvel movie collection.

Venom is a joy to watch in 4k, if you are not a Tom Hardy fan you might want to skip out on this one. Got this for 13$, good price point for this movie.

Pre-ordered this while the movie was still in theaters. Forget the critics (I'm looking at you, Rotten Tomatoes), fans will love this movie. Tom Hardy does a fantastic job as Eddie Brock. I'm a huge Spidey fan, but his absence in this film was for the best. Putting the spotlight entirely on Eddie Brock and Venom's hilariously fun chemistry was a great move. Can't wait for Sony to follow up with Carnage.

Good to see comedy along side scary. At first was hesitant to look at the movie, but after seeing it on cable three ones decided I would purchase it.

Not a bad movie, but not great. Tom Hardy is odd as Eddie Brock, and has a weird voice. He's much better as the voice of Venom. But this is a fun movie.

The Steel book case looks great. The movie on the other hand was mediocre, reminiscent of earlier super hero movies. CGI was sort of meh, script was kind of goofy, and the banter between venom/Eddie Brock was cringe worthy at times. Definitely geared toward a sub pg-13 audience (even though venom eats heads, no headless bodies/blood). Glad I held off on seeing it in the theaters, might be worth a rent though. Maybe I've been spoiled by some of the higher quality marvel movies...

The movie itself is ok. The movie had laughs and some good action but could of done with a few less S words in it for pg-13. 4k looks amazing with great sound

I know this film did well at the box-office but got poor reviews. I finally got to watch it on 4K Blu-ray and really enjoyed it. I do think they should have introduced Venom as a character a little sooner and the antagonist could have been a little better but overall it was a fun, enjoyable movie and I look forward to sequel. The 4K Blu-ray looks great and the Atmos track rocks. Highly recommended!
