This movie is ok, probably would be better if it was R RATED.

I enjoyed this outtake on the villain venom. It actually makes him not so bad a bad guy. I didn't expect what I got and was pleasantly surprised. This movie was very good. Try it out and you might be pleasantly surprised as well.

Better than the initial reviews i read while in theaters. Couldnt be happier with this version of venom. People said it had funny parts which they didnt care for. I liked it. Ive read all the comics and i enjoyed this portrayal.

Have been wanting to see what they did for an original film with this character and it's everything it was made to be - suspenseful, full of action AND a bonus post- credit from Spider Man multiverse animation

Refreshing new story for an old character. action packed. action scenes can be a little too fast and dark, but not like DC dark. The plot seems to develop pretty quickly, makes you wish they had added 30 more minutes of action. it's another marvel character worth following.

The Marvel Universe is very entertaining. This particular addition is very "dark," but the humor takes off the edge and keeps it very ejoyable!

Doesn’t lend itself to the MCU timeline in the least. It is a great stand alone Marvel movie however. Great storyline and casting choices. Can’t wait for the sequel with Woody. There will be carnage.

I would recommend this movie. My whole family loved it but I do have to say there is lots of science fiction in it. The only down side is that my disc was defective since it skips a couple seconds but I will get it exchanged.

Venom was a great movie if you like the character. The main villain could have used some development, but the connection between the hero and Venom developed realistically. It was a really fun film.

Will not ruin the movie, but if you like the action and suspense types of movies, this should be added to your collection. Bought this on sale for $10 and added it to my movie collection. Also comes with a Digital Copy.

This movie has a good and simple story line. But it’s just not straight from the comic books. But I understand why. But overall good movie, great action scenes, and it has comedy. For the steelbook itself, like always...looks good in the outside and plain Jane in the inside.

Excellent video quality. Entertaining movie. I wish Sony would introduce Venom into a Spiderman movie. It's long overdue. Unfortunately it seems they will stay disconnected.

Great Action, But It Lacks A Good Story. Overall Decent!

The movie was a blind buy based on my interest in Spider-man as a child, where the character was introduced as a villain. Having not a lot of connection to the source material for Venom as an anti-hero, I hoped that I would find something to like in this, but ultimately I was left with buyer's remorse. The main conceit I just couldn't get past was that Eddie Brock was meant to be a reporter, not some hardened killer, yet bonding with a creature that bites people's heads off (Even if they ARE bad people) doesn't seem to effect him even slightly; in that you were just a party to MURDER, but remain remarkably unfazed. It just felt harder to believe than I was expecting, and I never got back into the film as a result. A rental at best for this one.

I bought this for my son for Christmas.. he has recently become aware of Venom from Fortnite and he asked for this movie for Christmas! Purchased it on Black Friday for a great price!
