Venom was good. Not great but good. Hard to do this character justice without a ton of CGI which they did. Tom Hardy did great but overall the story was not strong.

It was originally going to be a horror movie, then they switched directors and they made Venom a hero? They missed the mark completely, but it was still an entertaining movie. I would recommend renting unless you collect the Marvel movies as I do.

I enjoyed aspects of the film and the venom character. Overall not the strongest film I've seen overall - wasnt a huge fan of the script or the fact that it was not R rated for a character that probably needed to be.

“Venom” may not be the best comic book film ever made, but it is at least competent. If you’re a fan of the superhero films that was released in the 2000s, then you may actually enjoy this film.

This is generally accepted as being a disappointing movie despite the box office success, but I thought it had a lot of fun parts. But I should list a disclaimer that I have to own anything, even tangentially related to Spider-Man.

I actually wanted to give the movie a 2.5 stars but could only do 2. The movie is ok. It's meh. Not gonna blow you away with the story. The visuals are ok and the audio is as well. The movie doesn't really pick up until Venom finds Eddie Brock. For me that's where I actually was invested in the movie. The fights were fun and exciting. Seeing Venom in live action was nice, but that was the real only thing that interests me. If you could get the movie at a sale price I would say go ahead. Other than that I would pass.

Venom isn’t the best , but it has its moments of fun. The look of Venom is straight out of the comics and would fit in MCU. The movie is a must watch for any Spider-Man or Venom fan.

The real draw of the movie is obiviously seeing Venom on the screen. Sadly the movie doesn’t take advantage of this and has a weak story and PG-13 rating. Tom Hardy and his scenes with Venom are worth checking this out.

Just an average movie. Venom was the star for sure and tbh tom hardy just felt out of place in this role to me. Still worth a watch but not sure id buy it if ive seen it before.

Not even Tom Hardy could help this movie. It was “meh” at best. This is going to be one of Marvel’s least popular movies. If you’re reading this, just pass on the movie and rewatch another good Marvel movie.

This movie seemed like a dark comedy. Tom Hardy made the movie. The plot itself seemed lazy and half-hearted. So much more could have been done with it. Hardy and the action sequences make it worth watching.
