so so marvel movie. funny but not so funny. open ending?

This movie was garbage. What more can I say? It was a complete let down of a mess with boring action and crappy cgi, not even 4K did any of this any justice. I don’t recommend this

Disappointed i dis not get the cover pictured on the site. Reason i ordered it. But it was a good movie overall.

I really want the movie Venom and I got it but I'm going to buy the 3D version from Ireland again! Because 3D makes every movie better!

If you collect Steelbook Blu Rays,this is one to pick up just for the art alone. As far as the movie, it’s not the greatest.

This is why you don't let Sony make Marvel movies. Just plain bad from start to finish. You have been warned.

This film is trash. Trash like the second Ghost Rider. Trash like Iron Man 3. Steelbook is sexy, though.

Venom was very much a question mark going right into showtime. Would this character translate without Spider-Man? Can Eddie Brock hold down an entire film? The answers depend on what you’re looking for. First the good: this flick is just fun. Turn off the logical part of your mind that has to pick apart the story, and you’ll be fine and walk out with a smile. Anything with Eddie and Venom is gold and probably what you came to see. There’s a decent amount of action along with an appropriate amount of humor. Now the not so good: the story is very simple and one we’ve seen before many times. Outside of Eddie Brock, there is no character you find yourself caring about in any significant way. A particular character goes from feeling one way about Eddie, to feeling the exact opposite, and then going back again within a short period of time. Given the context of their relationship, it’s a hard pill to swallow even in a fictional story. Overall, it’s all about expectations. If you’re a fan of Tom Hardy, give this a shot. If you’re looking for a fun two hours, definitely give it a shot. If you’re looking for something works changing that will leave you thinking, look elsewhere.

When it seems that almost every movie that comes out is based on a comic book..........and have so many characters just put in them so they have an excuse to make a spin-off, I had pretty much given up on expecting any genuine originality. But VENOM totally surprised me. They kept it focused on the main characters, Eddie Brock/Venom, they kept it to one bad guy, it had a great twisted sense of humor and it was totally entertaining. It was a nice change from the same ole same ole comic book movies.......

I wasn't expecting much with this movie after the trailer, but my kids were excited to see it so I went ahead and purchased the SteelBook. Happy that I did, the movie was surprisingly good and exceeded my expectations. Liked Tom Hardy's transition to reluctant 'hero', though the prototypical corporate bad guy didn't really offer much in the way of new ground. All in all a good purchase and will definitely get some re-watches.

Best Buy never disappoints with the SteelBook exclusives! Venom was a sweet surprise of a movie - humor, action, adventure, drama, romance and horror all in one! This edition of the Blu Ray is a must for fans of the movie. Thank you, Best Buy!

Actually was really pleased with this movie, which I was not expecting. Plotline left it open for future movies to continue without struggle and Hardy seriously made this role enjoyable. Awesome!
