If Redbox hadn't given me a free rental, I would've never bothered watching Venom--due to all the negativity I heard from critics. I liked the film. I laughed a few times, thought there were some cool parts, and I liked the cast.

The packaging is different from the standard Blu-ray’s but the insert is similar to the Blu-ray’s with a black and white background. The picture quality is clean and crisp, with good use of hdr and deep inky blacks.

I have no idea why the critics hated on this movie. It was a great comic book movie. The plot was well paced. The dynamic of Brock and Venom was great. The villain was great. The movie was great.

This movie was absolutely fantastic. Kept my attention the entire way in. Beautiful blend of comedy and so much action. Definitely would recommend

Action packed film that really doesn't fit completely with the Venom story line but still keeps you on the edge. The movie will definitely entertain you.

Venom is a film many thought would fail at the box office...clearly that was not the case. It may have not done well with critics, the audiences actually enjoy this movie. My opinion is that it gets the character right, has good humor, and some great moments...but does fail to have compelling villains, story, and well Spider-Man! That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. As a fan of Venom, this sadly was his best potrayal on the big screen yet. Tom Hardy did an excellent job with both Eddie and Venom.
