The first Venom was a work of art. This one, not really. Sure, Venom is cool but the movie lacked the essence of the movie spirit. Truly it's hard to reproduce a sequel that's as good or better. In short this one failed to hit the mark.

Mediocre movie, OK steelbook. For those that care, be aware that the back and inside of the steelbook have the exact same image/artwork as the front. It's a cool single image but confusing why it was used on every surface of the case.

Wait till it goes on sale for about nine dollars. Movie was not that good. I was all excited to see it it was a bit disappointed But my personal opinion is it wasn’t as good as the original. Storyline could’ve been better

I know the design of the steelbook, isn't for everyone. I personally love it. The movie is a whole different thing though. Did not enjoy it. Felt way too short, the pacing was terrible and so was the story. Venom deserves better.

For a corny film with villains in it that strays FAR FAR away from the source material you could do worse, But you could do far better. Part 1 stomps on this one, And that’s not saying much. Average film, Average review

Nice flick, its not a waste of your time but its not a timeless classic either. Venom should be a much darker movie and it seemed to have wayyy too much comedy. Great pic quality from 4k movies and good sound.

The acting was good. But it got little carried away just seem to drag out. I would recommend but to rent and not to buy. The original Venom is much better. Thanks

Not as good as the first one. Plot and storyline was so-so. I fell asleep after 30min....did have a good nap. More fit for younger kids....lots of animation.

This is a filler movie, meant to fill the void for some upcoming MCU movies, even though this was not part of the MCU phases. So that's fun. The backstory for Carnage was pretty graphic in its story telling.

Finally got a chance to watch. This Venom was better than the first with some good comedy. It’s still lacking good directing but I still enjoyed. Maybe we’ll see improvements when they add Spider-man?

I have to say I don’t mind a mindless action/comic movie once and a while but this movie was hard to get through. Hero’s are unrelatable, villains you just don’t care about. I would skip this one

Venom needs to get out of San Fran and see the world a bit. Second go around had largely the same highs and lows as the first. Woody was a good Carnage, but Venom needs to make some progress.

I really like the Matt finishes on steelbooks instead of glossy. It’s harder to damage. I really like the artwork on this steelbook, and I enjoyed the movie for what it is

Not the best sequel, but definitely not the worst! I was a little let down with this movie after the first Venom, and although it had some great scenes, I was left wanting for a whole lot more!!

Ok movie, lots of cgi ...not as good as the first Venom movie, and that movie wasn't even that good. Still better than Topher Grace as Venom though. The Steelbook of this release was awesome.

It’s not the best movie in the world, but the steelbook looks awesome. Whoever did the artwork for it really outdid themselves.

Not as Good as the Original. Woody plays a good villian. I need to watch it again because I am not sure I gave it a chance the first time.

While it wasn’t the worst film I watched this year, it’s nowhere near my top ten. There’s some really questionable choices made here, but all in all I didn’t feel like I wasted my time.

Just can’t get into this. Since I used to collect all the Spider-Man books it just seems wrong the way they portray the character. Not bad but not great in my opinion.

The first film set the bar very high. Unfortunately IMO this film didn't deliver. It was actually quite boring and predictable, giving this movie 3 stars is really a gift.
