Recording old VHS to DVD

Wanted to try a different brand so went with these. Was not disappointed. Although the 20 year old VHS quality was lacking due to age of the tapes, the image using my Samsung DVD / VCR combo recorder looked as good as the aged original.

Verbatim DVD-R Discs

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BB only had Verbatim at the time of purchase so I bought this brand for a Christmas present. I haven't heard any complaints from my friend so I assume they were good quality with little or no problems.

DECENT DISC

Good, but several discs will be damaged.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This seems to be the only brand of blank DVDs that Best Buy carries at a reasonable price, so these are the ones I buy. They work well, and interestingly, even though the package says they have 120 minutes of capacity, Windows allows you to put 150 minutes on them. The only downside is that because these are a cheap brand, about 10% or so of the discs will be damaged or not working. In my pack of 50, 10 or so were damaged, so keep that in mind if you purchase these.
