These refill cards never expire and the taxes are added to the balance of the card you you wish to purchase from Verizon. When you pay with your refill card, your refill amount will be added to your Verizon account. On your Verizon renewal date they will take out the amount for monthly Verizon service and Deduct this amount from your Verizon balance.
