Can't believe you use the minutes when talking to another Verizon customer. Was told when I purchased the phone that I would be able to talk to all Verizon customers without using minutes - but that was not the case. I am now out the phone plus the unused minutes. I had T-Mobile for years and wanted to switch to Verizon.

waste of money

Needed a $60 card

Easier to just go to the phone guys and have them do it for you and then use an online account to pay monthly.

ok for no contract
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We use it to refill our no contract phone every 3 months. Verizon got clever and up'ed the card's refill amount from $30 (which would be the minimal) to $35. Anyway, we never have any problem with the cards bought. Now, we just need to find the $30 card to get from somewhere else.

great for anyone

It helps them learn the responsibility of owning a phone. Once she's out she's out of minutes. We only allow 1 card a month. She has to use it wisely.
