Direction of vapor can only be re-directed by turning the entire unit. There is no indicator of the tank being empty (no red light, no sound). However, it does what I need it to do.

I wish the dial could give you an estimate on the humidity range. Also, the vapoPad compartment doesn't seem to warm the pads enough to be useful.
