Not enough seal used in my box of kcups
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coffee doesn't taste bad for the 5 cups I've been able to drink. Unfortunately, the adhesive used to seal the tops of the kcup is inconsistent or weak. This has caused several kcups to overflow the sides and makes a coffee grind mess on my Keurig and kitchen counter. I've included a picture of the typical bad kcup. We purchased a batch of Kona from the same manufacturer and that case has been perfectly fine so far, so I chalk this up to spotty QC process on the assembly line. I used a piece of masking tape to secure down the lid of the Donut Shop blend now before I make a cup of coffee. Not ideal, but at least I found a use for the 10+ year old roll of masking tape in my house! Still a good price, but caveat emptor!
