not up to the first films in series because the left out the humor just more blood and chop em up

Was pleasantly surprised when Adam Green announced that he secretly made a new Hatchet film, so when it became available, I knew I had to pick it up. Overall, it's not terrible, but out of the four Hatchet films released, it's not the best one in the bunch. Still one I'd recommend, to those that have seen the other three, and are a fan of the series.

If you like comedy and horror movies and over the top murders this is your type of movie

I thought the new film was pretty grey and decided to trade it in after watching it.

I love Kane Hodder, that being said, I can't believe he signed on to this. Even as a horror comedy, I feel, it fell flat. This was a hot mess...in my opinion.

But not enough action and gore. It's more of a comedy than anything. Certain part of the movie dragged too much. Glad I paid 10 for this trash.

Terrible, awful movie. The visual effects are obviously fake and cheaply done. Some make-up effects are good, but that can't make up for the mannequins and rubber body parts that dominate this waste of time. The acting is surprisingly better than the script and there are a couple of moments of laughter to be had. Did not know this was the 4th "Hatchet" movie and if the others are like this, there's no reason to see them. Avoid this movie!
