IT IS THE TRUE STORY OF QUEEN VICTORIA OF ENGLAND WHO BECAME QUEEN AT A VERY YOUNG AGE AND WENT ON HAVE ONE OF THE LONGEST REIGNS IN BRITISH HISTORY. THIS FIRST SEASON INTRODUCES US TO VICTORIA AS A YOUNG GIRL BEFORE SHE BECOMES QUEEN. IT PROCEEDS WITH HER CORONATION AND MARRIAGE TO PRINCE ALBERT OF GERMANY AND THEN ENDS WITH THE BIRTH OF THEIR FIRST CHILD. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BRITISH HISTORY BUFFS AND FANS OF "DOWNTOWN ABBEY".
