does what I'd hoped, playing my old records. the volumes and sound quality are modest, but better speakers can be used if desired. I got what I paid for and am satisfied but this is not high fidelity.

Needed a new turntable and this matches my record storage case. I know I will get much use out of it.

Wanted more, so I returned it and bought more of a traditional product. Looks great!

I bought it as a birthday gift for my wife to play her 45’s. We have a couple of other record players that are hooked up to receivers that just makes it hard to play the little ones. She has it next to the bed and that makes it convenient for her to use it. She loves it.

Cleaning out the garage a few months ago, my Mrs. found an old box of vinyl. She decided then and there that she wanted a record player like she had when she was a kid, to relive some of that scratchy-sound goodness, and moreover, to demonstrate to our three little ones who get songs on demand from YouTube, iMusic, and any number of apps what we had to endure to hear our favorites. The Victrola - Bluetooth Stereo Turntable is a compact, plug-n-play device without a lot of bells and whistles. We literally opened the box, plugged it in, put a record on it, and were hearing music within 60 seconds. The 1/8th inch jack connected easily to our TV soundbar, which was far superior to the internal speakers on the unit; that said, the record player itself has speakers that are functional and tolerable... not going to be Bose-quality bass, but gets the job done. At $70ish bucks, this is a fun item that is a few steps above a toy, but a few steps below a high-quality turntable. Mrs. was happy to get it at Christmas, so #husbandWin for me.
