Great Beginner Record Player

Have to say for the price it turned out to be a great beginner record player for her. They don’t last long though cause by this past Christmas we were getting her a new one cause this one had died.

Campy and fun item

She decided then and there that she wanted a record player like she had when she was a kid, to relive some of that scratchy-sound goodness, and moreover, to demonstrate to our three little ones who get songs on demand from YouTube, iMusic, and any number of apps what we had to endure to hear our favorites. The Victrola - Bluetooth Stereo Turntable is a compact, plug-n-play device without a lot of bells and whistles. We literally opened the box, plugged it in, put a record on it, and were hearing music within 60 seconds. The 1/8th inch jack connected easily to our TV soundbar, which was far superior to the internal speakers on the unit; that said, the record player itself has speakers that are functional and tolerable... not going to be Bose-quality bass, but gets the job done. At $70ish bucks, this is a fun item that is a few steps above a toy, but a few steps below a high-quality turntable. Mrs. was happy to get it at Christmas, so #husbandWin for me.
