I knew this wasn’t gonna be the best record player but I thought it is a cheap “for now” record player… idk if mine was defective or what but from the moment I started it up it was skipping my record. All 4 of them and they are brand new. So yea I returned it and I don’t want to take a chance by getting another defective one so I will wait until I can afford the audio technica

Unfortunately, there was some sort of issue with it, as it skipped my records. I even double checked it wasn't the vinyl on a friend's record player and there was no issue. I was disappointed as I heard great things about this player. But thankfully Best Buy made returning it easy.

Cause I really didn't see a difference. I put a vinyl record on it and it scratched the record so the record started skipping. Just please save yourself some time and get a better one.

Built in speaker quality is honestly pretty bad, and although it's in a suitcase it will need a power source to play. I tried to connect it via bluetooth to my home theater system but found that it only works as a receiver, so you can only use your phone to play music through the (horrible) turntable speakers. I used an aux to connect to my home theater and the sound is still very tinny, lacking bass. I would recommend this as a first turntable for someone curious or a child, but if you're really looking to get decent sound I'd look elsewhere
