Good sound, not tinny or anything. It's small unit so it doesn't blast but you can connect it using rca to other stuff

I bought this as a gift for my dad on Father’s Day, let’s just say he plays his classic rock records every day in the living room now. It sounds amazing, it looks very decorative when it’s closed, and easy to hook up to an external stereo for more volume.

This is just what I wanted out of it: straightforward, uncomplicated, works without fuss. The tone arm is light, as expected, but has enough resistance that it doesn't easily flop around off one's finger. Turntable starts automatically and stops when arm is returned. It doesn't go back by itself. This is no frills. The sound is fine, you can't expect much; I was happy listening to old records I hadn't played in years. The only issue I have, it does NOT have a handle—you'd think it would, being "suitcase" sized.

I noticed my husband had a bunch of his old albums on a shelf and figured he would love to play them again. Ended up being a perfect Christmas gift. All he had to do was plug it in and play a record. Also fun was explaining to our 12 year old that it was how we listened to music when we were his age!!

I bought it for my teenage son. I had already purchased one for my older son. I went with the tie dye because it had a better look to it for a teenager. It was also a big plus that it has built in speakers. He’s loving it so far and has already started a collection of vinyls.
