Cause I really didn't see a difference. I put a vinyl record on it and it scratched the record so the record started skipping. Just please save yourself some time and get a better one.

Built in speaker quality is honestly pretty bad, and although it's in a suitcase it will need a power source to play. I tried to connect it via bluetooth to my home theater system but found that it only works as a receiver, so you can only use your phone to play music through the (horrible) turntable speakers. I used an aux to connect to my home theater and the sound is still very tinny, lacking bass. I would recommend this as a first turntable for someone curious or a child, but if you're really looking to get decent sound I'd look elsewhere

I knew this wasn’t gonna be the best record player but I thought it is a cheap “for now” record player… idk if mine was defective or what but from the moment I started it up it was skipping my record. All 4 of them and they are brand new. So yea I returned it and I don’t want to take a chance by getting another defective one so I will wait until I can afford the audio technica

Only disappointment my old records only last about 20 minutes and you have to manually put on a new record and place the needle on the record but I can move the turntable le to wherever I wish to play then nearby

But for me personally, I hate this thing, i should have got the Numark PT01 usb record player. Im a sampled based producer in Los Angeles california and this thing wasn't helping me be productive at all, The rca cables in the back of the record player would send so much static that it was impossible to capture a good clean sample. but as iv'e stated before, if you just enjoy listening to music through this thing then its not a bad item at all. And i bought it because it say's it's a turntable, but the actual rotating thing that the record sits on doesn't spin all the way around in the oposit direction.

It came with 3 extra needles and a nice cloth to wipe it down. I received a few vinyls of some of my favorite albums for my birthday and really wanted to hear how they sound. I haven’t had any issues with it other then the speakers are very dull. A $30 Bluetooth speaker sounds better then this. But I plan on connecting some speakers to it. Which it does offer analog cables for. So that’s awesome.

I bought this on a whim so I could play some records. Before the record player arrived on my doorstep, it went on sale. I called BestBuy and got their price match guarantee! They refunded me $11.82 with no issues! The speakers could be a little bit better, but for the price, it sounds fine.
