The volume isn't super loud but loud enough to do the job! Great as an introduction for anyone who collects records and it has bluetooth compatibility for people that want to use streaming services!

The sound is fine for my purpose. It arrived more quickly than estimated by Best Buy, which was an extra treat. Since my taste in old music is not necessarily shared, the headphone port is a huge plus!

It has bluetooth connected speakers to play another device through. I will say the speakers are nothing to write home about but it also has rca outputs to connect to a stereo system.
