The arm stopped working with the lever and the only way to get it to play was to manually move the arm.

Did not work and cheaply made

How disappointing. First of all it feels very cheaply made. The tonearm feels like it could break very easily. The turn table does not always turn, and when it does it makes a terrible clicking sound. I was not able to listen to a single record. I took it back and got a refund. Will spend a bit more money on something nicer. Seems like you run a 50/50 chance of this record player working.

For some reason, every single new record I have purchased does not play properly on this table. They all just skip. My friends who are more established record player owners say these "suitcase style" players are not good. Taking their word for it. Returning it.

Once it arrived and finally was used the record player was unbalanced and wouldnt play a record without skipping parts of the song. I had to return and go to a hire priced record player.
