    Very disappointed with the Geek Squad. They did not install the new Xfinity box with the new equipment supplied. (Said power box not working which was not true. I took it to xfinity to be checked. They were hesitant to help us with other issues. I felt that because my husband and I are in our 80’s they had written w us off as ignorant. We paid service charge for something we got have done.

    Service was done by a contractor and was incomplete and very bad. The did not do what was paid for and furthermore they did not arrive when the emailed us they would arrive. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with Geek Squad service and will make sure that I do not every get a contractor again or I won't purchase from Best Buy. I notice at the end they want to know if I would recommend Geek Squad Service to a friend. Yes Geek Squad not their contractors.

    My purchase was not in the store. Also when they gave me my appoint it was for a Saturday and the never showed up I had to call to find out what happened took my money but did not have the article. I got a refund and will never do business with Best Buy agin.

    Wham Bam thank-you Ma’am. In and out explaining things at a mile a minute. Left me with one of my two televisions NOT working at all…. A useless hunk of plastic. $196 for twenty minutes. Bet they laughed in their van at another confused old man. What a disgrace!

    3rd visit in 24 hours, still not working to my satisfaction. They were very kind and helpful, but new equipment not seamlessly working 100%

    If I could give 0 stars I would. We are Totaltech members and one of the selling points to us was the fact of having the extended warranties and the set up on purchases. Guys were nice but our projector was never set up correctly. They didn't get it connected to wifi or leveled correctly on to the screen. Never connected and checked to see if TV worked just that projector turned on. Instructions and gloves and hardware that were included with the bundle was not opened or used. Screen was wrinkled tope right corner and they said all screens they have put up have defects. Had to call Geeksquad after and spent a LONG time on the phone with Austin and had to get thing set up as best we could ourselves until they could get someone back out at first available appointment which was over a week later!!

    The "crew" that came to install my dryer was totally ill-prepared for the job. They didn't have a "pipe wrench" (really!?!? who goes to install a pipe without even the tools, AND they didn't have a necessary fitting either. Lucky them, I HAD A SPARE FITTING IN MY OWN SHOP.. lemme see, I hired them to do WHAT? OH YEAR, INSTALL A DRYER. lol What a concept, bring tools and fittings!

    The work I asked for and paid for ($150 for connecting 3 devices) was not completed. I assumed they had done the job that I requested when they left. They had not. Now I have the same thing I had when they arrived. I am out $150 for absolutely nothing. Do not let them leave your house without demonstrating that everything you wanted and paid for has been done.

    I hired the geek squad to teach my sister how to use her new DVD player and she doesn’t know how to use it, so I was hoping he could either give her a second lesson or write it down or just not assume that she knew how to use it after he gave her a small lesson

    They came 3 times to get my fire stick working with my tv. Cost me $ 139 extra besides the initial $139 and it is not working again. I don't want to spend any more money but i am going to call and see what they say.

    We were to have the tech This Thursday. No one called. I called and they told me that the tech was sick ?COVID? That really, really upset me and a new date was reserved.PLEASE.PLEASE I want the tech to call me the night before to confirm the am appt. THANK YOU

    Installed You tube on my TV for purpose of NFL Sunday ticket. First week got picture but no sound. Can see & hear games on my cell phone, but can't get any service on my TV. Not happy at all..

    geek squad tried to install a wireless antenna.

    The agent tried to install a wireless antenna he had no idea what he was doing. After trying for a while and finally getting a picture (which was really poor) on fox 59 he told us that was all I would get. No channel 4 or other ones available. Told us we need to get a stronger antenna and we could take the one he had tried back cause the box was not torn up (which he had opened). Was there to install software on a tablet. Ok with that put really don't want him (James) back. Called geek squad to schedule another agent plus bought another stronger antenna.

    The tech resolved the issue but he was the one that installed it initially. He should have tested his connections prior to leaving the job. I had to pay an additional $100 so the Geek Squad could come back and fix their mess as I already have paid $149 for the install.
