Awful

Two or no-shows, two technicians came and didn’t know how to do it, once they didn’t have the right equipment and the sixth appointment was three hours late and they finally got it done. The technicians were very nice and capable.

Efficiency has become deficiency

They never showed up. They wanted me to come to the store and pay for the appointment before they'd come. They never told me that. They couldn't take a credit card. Why can't you have secure credit card software---you claim to be a tech company. Well, your attempt at greater efficiency have irritated this once-faithful customer.

Unreliable and no communication

I paid for installation of my Epson Projector which was scheduled for Sept 2. Some Best Buy people came out on Sept 2 and said the job was not scheduled right. Then it got rescheduled for Sept 15. On Sept 15 I received a call saying that it was scheduled wrong again so they rescheduled it for today, Sept 19 from noon to 5pm. It is now 3:30 and no one has shown up and I have not received any call from Best Buy. I have called Best Buy support and I have been shuttled around and I have been on hold now for about 30 minutes. I look at my account and see that Best Buy has this installation listed as "Complete". Unbelievable.

Scheduling and communicating with the Geeks

I, however found great help in Best Buy Shannon Reynolds who contacted the Geek Squad boss, Jeff Parks.

Apps not working

NOT HAPPY.

FOUND OUT I MUST PAY FOR THE MOVIES EVEN THOUGH I ASSUMED THEY WOULD BE FREE OF CHARGE. DO NOT PLAN ON CONTINUING THIS SERVICE. WILL LEAVE WHEN MY YEAR IS UP. WOULD LIKE SOME EXPLANATION WHY I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

You now use national or international help desk. The individuals on the other line speak with such heavy accents that they could not be understood. I called twice and the second person was Indian and extremely unhelpful. I only had the computer for 1 hour and logged off and tried to log back on without success. Due to the installer screwing it up. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

Devices OK, installation, not so much!

Keep in mind we both are elderly and my husband is hearing impaired. After a couple weeks we attempted to use the device only we couldnt get it to work. So I made the BIG MISTAKE of calling and seeing about getting someone to come in and fix the controls. I was told that the 4 year plan I purchased did not cover this. What a joke. So much for customer satisfaction. You will never catch me in a Best Buy store ever again nor will anyone else I can tell my store to. You got my money but lost me as a customer. J Anaya

Remote Controls and Headphone Installation Failed

My Geek Squad showed up but didn't know anything about programing televisons or hooking up my newly purchased headphones. Needless to say, nothing really got done. Working full time and planning these appointments without positive results was disapointing. I will say he was very friendly, but a computer geek not a televison, stereo tech.

Smart TV setup

My new cell phone # was not set up on my appointment requests. The driver who came sat in my condo parking lot and when I went outside, his comment was I've been sitting her for 10 minutes calling you. He had my old cell #, not the one given to my contact person. I specifically gave INSTRUCTIONS when I set the appts, and they were not followed. There is a BREAKDOWN in the line of communication between a CUSTOMER and the staff taking the information, Hope this is corrected in the future.
