The system installation went smoothly, but given that they were installing the device in the home of my elderly parents, I was unhappy that one of the installers wasn't wearing a proper mask but instead had a sort of neck scarf that kept slipping down off his face.

We bought the Ring at our local store and had a tech come to install it. The tech was super nice but when the video came up in the Ring app everything in the video was purple. He said, "Oh, that's because of the HD technology Ring is using". We took his word on it and after two days of looking at other Ring videos from other users, we decided that he didn't know what he was talking about. We called Ring and they were super! They took one look at the video and said that it was not right and they immediately sent us a new doorbell. It appears the tech didn't want to have to deal with a defective product that Best Buy had sold us. It was not Best Buys fault the product was defective but it would have been nice if the tech had said that he thought it was and for us to contact Ring for a replacement or return the product to the store. Previously every tech we had from Best Buy had been excellent and we were very satisfied with their work.

The agent did a great job installing the Nest doorbell. Also gave great information regarding our doorbell transformer.
