I paid 149.00 for a professional install of my Google Nest Wired 2nd Generation Doorbell. I received anything but a professional install. I told the installer that the Chime Connector Puck was a necessary step to ensure the doorbell camera worked properly and to not install it would cause damage to the doorbell camera. He insisted it wasn't needed and refused to install it. After a few months I started hearing a loud ticking sound coming from the chime box on the wall. It was struggling to maintain power to the doorbell camera. I was also having trouble with the video feed, it became glitchy and sometime I had no video at all. I tried calling TGS, but could not reach a person, only on line support. After watching a few YouTube how to videos I was able to attach the chime connector myself. I want a refund. My doorbell camera is still glitchy I believe from permanent damage from not having that piece installed from day one. God forbid a woman knows what shes talking about. I told the installer it was needed and he ignored me. I would never use their GS service again.

We bought the Ring at our local store and had a tech come to install it. The tech was super nice but when the video came up in the Ring app everything in the video was purple. He said, "Oh, that's because of the HD technology Ring is using". We took his word on it and after two days of looking at other Ring videos from other users, we decided that he didn't know what he was talking about. We called Ring and they were super! They took one look at the video and said that it was not right and they immediately sent us a new doorbell. It appears the tech didn't want to have to deal with a defective product that Best Buy had sold us. It was not Best Buys fault the product was defective but it would have been nice if the tech had said that he thought it was and for us to contact Ring for a replacement or return the product to the store. Previously every tech we had from Best Buy had been excellent and we were very satisfied with their work.
