Joe came out. What a great guy. Went over everything. He installed our ring and a tv. He answered all of our questions of the new install and even helped us with the previous geek squad tv install. He was great. I would recommend geek squad and if you can choose Joe. You won't be disappointed!!!

The Geek Squad was on time, very professional and did a fantastic job! They even mitigated my concerns with solar and they were absolute correct...no power disruptions whatsoever! They also helped my mother set the app up on her phone and gave her a nice tutorial! Exceptional service!

It took three tries for the geek squad to install the bell and the chimes to get everything working and synchronized. Now the bell and chimes are working perfectly. The jury is out as to whether I would use the geek squad in the future

The installation went very well. The technician was perhaps a bit gruff and seemed to be in a hurry but he did a good job and I was completely satisfied with his work. The only complaint I have is that within two weeks, two different service visits required rescheduling. In BOTH cases, I had called in my order over the phone because they had involved price matching. And in both cases, I received email confirmations showing the date agreed upon. But then, they were followed up by emails saying that I had to reschedule. Upon calling Best Buy, I was told that the agent hadn't "completed" the scheduling. In one case, they were able to come one day sooner than the originally agreed upon date. But I was not so fortunate the second time as I had to wait three weeks for my product to be installed, even though payment was immediate. The installation quality met my expectations but Best Buy needs to improve their scheduling and follow up emails. In some cases, I received follow-up emails showing a different four-hour time window for the installation so this was annoying too as it required me to phone Best Buy once again to confirm that the original time window was accurate. It should be noted that Best Buy is NOT a sanctioned Nest products installer which means your two-year manufacturer's warranty will not be extended to five years. I did this mainly out of convenience but I'm not sorry I did.

When it’s working it probably the best, easy to use, but if you get one power outage, or loss of internet connectivity. Then Ring becomes a nightmare trying to reconnect. Most devices will reconnect on their own. not ring 50/50 chance you will make a repair appt if you can’t reconnect yourself! Maybe better off buying battery version for convenience of returning if you’re not happy!

Pablo Zamora did a great job installing our smart doorbell. I was in a dilemma reading reviews about the ring doorbell since the existing doorbell circuity is positioned on the side instead of fronting the door. An angled adapter was needed and it would have to be purchased separately. The item was not on stock at Best Buy. When we opened the Ring doorbell box, it was truly a pleasant surprise from Ring to have included an adaptor! Pable then proceeded to tap into the existing electrical feed and I didn't have to use batteries or a solar panel for the doorbell . Best buy just took the items back.

The Geek Squad came to install doorbell but our current door bell would not work for the video doorbell. The Geek Squad suggested using cameras. He went to the store and called us with the price which had a great sale price. He installed them and we date very happy with them. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a product that would work well for us.

I have been mostly pleased with my experiences with Gook Squad. A hiccup with some advice I received that I acted on and it turned out to be bad advice FOR MY NEEDS. May well have worked for someone else. But everyone I interacted with has been very, very helpful and nice.

I recently signed up for membership to the Geek Squad. Support has been superb thus far. The day our doorbell was installed all went well. The Squad rep was very courteous and went about his business well. Only thing was, it took a little time for him to work through installation because he had never tried to install the type of doorbell I have before. Nevertheless, persistence paid off and he got the job done. The Geek Squad, whether in-store or out on installation runs, is a great service provided by Best Buy. Look into it and see if it will fit your needs.

I ordered the wired version originally, but couldn't install it myself due to my original doorbell's wires being too short. I then ordered the wired version again, but with installation. I expected the installation crew to know how to extend the wires, but instead they told me they couldn't and just gave me the battery powered version instead. I could have installed that myself...

Installer was efficient, pleasant. He completely installed n set up. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to work it. Thought a little instruction would hav3 been helpful.

This was my second Ring Doorbell Pro installation by Geek Squad in a second location. It was easy to schedule at the time of purchase online and I like the fact that they keep you up to date on a more specific time window. Once the Geek Squad arrived, they were courteous and also were careful to put on booties to cover their shoes if they need to come inside. It's these small touches and care that shows Geek Squad is best in class. I also like that the service is backed by a reputable company.
