Great device for a beginner

Geek squad could not get our ring doorbell install

He could not get our current digital chime to work with the ring. He said it appeared there was not enough voltage to run both in the ring mode. Currently have an 18 volt transformer installed. I will install a 24 volt transformer to see if that helps. Unfortunately after the installer left the ring totally stopped working. I will attempted to reconnect it to the WIFi network. If not I will have to call geek squad back to finish the job. If the higher powered transformer does not fix the chime, I will return the ring doorbell.
