    Ring Doorbell Pro --not very happy

    The agent installed the Ring Pro doorbell and then realized that it did not communicate with the WiFi setup in our home. He returned with a "Chime Pro" WiFi extender (additional cost) and plugged it in, but still the WiFi fluctuates in strength. Also, the agent did not connect the new door bell to the chime wiring for our home, so we have lost the chime ring, which we miss -- a lot! The Ring dorr bell functions OK, but it is overly sensitive and seems to detect any nearby motions (like cars on the street passing our house) .

    Internet connect failurr

    Team uninstalled and reinstalled door ring camera but it still would not connect to internet. It was previously installed and worked but just stopped connecting to internet.

    At the end, the ring door bell was working perfectly. The actual work was done by myself. Installer corrected an software connection issue which prevented me from getting this functioning properly

    Sent many texts to the tech, Daniel, concerning the problems, he never answered..finally called him and he gave me the run around and never showed up when he said he would. I think this was a contractor not a best buy geek Squad member..I now have contacted the geek Squad customer service and someone is coming out to rectify the problems...Note that I have used the geek Squad for many things including a Sonos system for our house...always great!!

    Poor service and Best Buy did not install it. After I purchased the products and service at the local store, I was told the installer will bring the products when they come. When no one showed up to install at prescheduled time, I called and was told they can’t install home security system. I asked them to return the product but they said I had to go to local store since they have the product. I had to pay a 3rd party installer over $250 instead of free installation as a part of Total Tech. Also, I had used Best Buy reward certificate which were never credited back They said it will show up in 30 days but it never did. I called the reward dept and they said we will post the reward points on 30 days. Credit never showed up. I finally gave up with all the red tape between BB sales, tech team and back office in India. Service has deteriorated a lot in last year.

    I like it ok but one of the cameras keeps running out of charge. It runs on a solar panel and all the other cameras are fine. I think it is defective. Also, I wish the sound was louder. It's kind of hard to hear.

    The agent installed a Ring doorbell and security system. At first everythong was good. But the next morning our internet was down. Our provider came out and got it up again, but said the eero was onterfering and we needed to have the agent come back out. I made an appt, but the agent didnt show. He said he thought it was a mistake since he slready installed the system. He said he would come the next week, but did not show up again. I tried to call our local store, but kept getting the call center who were useless. I finally went to the store and found out we have an appt for another agent to come out at tbe end of the month! Very poor service! Will not renew my service subscription!

    IT SEEMS TO TAKE WEEKS TO GET THE GEEK SQUAD TO ARRIVE TO FIX WHAT THEY INSTALLED THAT DIED THE DAY AFTER INSTALL. BEST BUY NEEDS TO BE MORE RESPONSIVE TO ELITE PLUS MEMBERS!
