    Attempted to speak with someone about picking up my order and was on hold for 44 minutes only to be disconnected. I contacted the corporate number and was finally helped. Very poor customer service from this location.

    Wasted a service call

    The tech was unable to install so wasted money on a service call that didn’t accomplish anything. The previous call to have a tv mounted on the bedroom wall went well.

    It has been more than 20 days that i applied for refund and there's no update on that as yet. First, you send a technicial for doorbell when my request is for a home alarm system. then you send a home alarm system guy who says he cannot install. Net I spend $300 and when i apply for a refund, I am put on hold for 45+ mins and i keep getting the same message that "we are waiting for refund" Pathetic service to say the least. Never calling you guys again.

    The installation once the rep was there the second time was better but getting the proper support or the refund due to the situation has been horrific at best. The initial rep that sold the equipment stopped communicating and effectively ghosted the situation. I would go directly thru ring/amazon versus ever buying this product from them ever again

    service was not completed was never notified that the internet and Wi-Fi had to be up and running before installation so it was not able to be completed

    Installer created a short in the wires in the wall leading to a fire hazard. Installer also drove a mounting screw so deep into the Ring doorbell that he cracked the housing of the doorbell, and the screw is now lodged in the doorbell. I’ve had to bring in a professional electrician to fix the damage that was done along with returning the doorbell to Amazon.

    Customer service is horrible along with 3 delays causing me to miss work. Ask for supervisor each time never returned call. Lots of money spent at Best Buys. Requested refund for all the time spent dealing with this matter.

    The person never showed up for the appointment. I called the Geek Squad and they said there is nothing they can do. I’ve already paid for this and no one can help me. Extremely Bad Service!

    I bought a Ring camera and paid Best Buy to install it. The installer couldn’t install it and instead, damaged the bell that I had which was working before he came. Now I have no working doorbell. I called customer service. They did refund my installation charges but I also requested consideration for my damaged doorbell. I was told that Best Buy would contact me in 24 hrs. It’s been 72 hours and I haven’t heard from anyone.

    I ordered this service and it took them a month and a half to actually come to my home and install. I need a refund for this. I spoke to customer service and Best Buy and everyone said that setting up my network properly was beyond their authority. I even went to the store and spoke to the manager and the local manager in Sugarland was trying to sell me equipment that would purposely not work. The store manager for the Greek Squad was rude and abusive and I had to wait 2 weeks for the reinstallation of my gateway network to function properly.

    A tech came to my house to install my smart doorbell, told me I'd need another part, gave me his number and told me to call him to schedule the appointment for the next week and he'd come back. He left and my smart doorbell did not work. I called him several times, he never returned my calls. I contacted Best Buy to try and resolve this matter and have now been on hold for about an hour. This always happens when I deal with Best Buy. Endless passing the buck and absurdly long hold times. They took $108 from me and did not do the work. Extremely unhappy. I want my money back.

    Very inefficient and time consuming service required three geek squad visits and one store visit to return the item and pay $30 fee as well as another geek squad fee to install the replacement item that had to be ordered as it was not in stock at the store

    Terrible - Stopped working after 30 hours

    Geek Squad Installed on a Friday morning. 8pm Saturday it stopped working - texted installer and no response. As if it has no power. Spoke to customer service about it and calling Geek Squad to come fix it.

    Unfortunately, I had to redo the installation of the Nest Hello video doorbell. Outside contractors are not as good as the Geek Squad.

    The installers were third party. Nice but not skilled. They installed the doorbell at an angle that doesn’t pick up visitors. Ridiculous.

    Once you buy the ring you still have to buy the chime which is another $50 bc the service is better with it. Without the chime the service sucks & the ring wont pick up anything or looks really blurry & distorted.

    Ring door bell & app

    The ring door bell app worked on my android phone for 2 days and stopped giving notifications. It will put the notification in the list but the phone will not chime to alert me that someone is at the door.

That said, the experience you described is not the one we intended when our Agents came out to set up your ring door bell app. While we always try to get things taken care of in the first appointment, we know that sometimes things don't work the same after the technician leaves.
