Were suppose to install cameras.

Called at 7 pm and said they were running late and would be at my house about 8 pm. Yea no thanks. Horrible.

Install Not Complete

Installer indicated he could not connect the chime connector therefore I had to have someone else install it for me. Again I was still charge for an installation fee

Incompetent

He left without resolution, stating that I would just have to contract an electrician because he couldn't get it to work. Customer service has yet to help. I keep getting rescheduled and nobody is addressing this issue. I am a paying member of TotalTech and would highly advise against anyone else buying it. There is no help given.

Service no show -- 2nd time!!!

I was told that a third party had been hired to do this work and I had no one whom I could call. this was the second time that I confirmed that someone would come to install the ring doorbell and camera and no one came. Waited all day.

Geek squad service man didn’t know how to install

The guy came to install the bell ring had no idea how to do it, and another guy came to chat and stand looking at the inside of my house which is really strange and kinda scary, then told me we can’t install and a note will be added to your account . I just saw that this service is listed as completed!,,, so strange ,,,

Defected

However, the first unit I bought was defected per the geek installer. I returned it for another unit , second unit was defected also. Eventually Ring was contacted and they replaced the unit from their warehouse.Called the geek installer to inform them i have the new unit only to be told they don’t know when they will be back in my area but they will give me a call. I’m still waiting for that call. I texted them and no response but my card was changed and work marked as completed. Needless to say I’m not happy.

Disgusted Service

My doorbell does not work & I paid the $149.99. I am disappointed that noone will contact me to fix the problem. I do not want the last technician that was sent to ever come to residence ever again.

Unable to install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After multiple emails to senior Best Buy leadership and scheduling multiple appointments, Geek squad personnel were unable to hard wire my ring doorbell. If they had simply stated up front that they do not have capability to hard wire the doorbell it would have saved 8 weeks and I would have hired an electrician up front, and saved $200 “membership” fee.

He was a delight to deal with and helped me in every way he could.

Geek squad installed Google Nest Doorbell

Geek did not install my Ring system

They broke my doorbell

He said I was receiving to much power to that location so he took it back off. Then he put my original doorbell back in its place and it hasn’t worked since. There’s even a wire hanging out of the doorbell. After reporting this issue to Bestbuy, someone was scheduled to fix my doorbell two weeks later but they never showed up.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installer arrived and told me that he would install the Ring door bell, but since it was smaller than the doorbell/speaker currently near where I wanted the Ring, he told me that it would leave a big hole in my wall, I did it myself, leaving the doorbell speaker where it was and placing the Ring slightly to the right

Worst service

He then told me to buy a ring and get a wireless and reschedule it again and he will come and install it. Still till this day. I have the product brand new in a box. I call customer service and was given the run around. Im not please at all. Dont waste your money

Wireless Nest doorbell

What good is a doorbell that doesn't ring? The Geek Squad has been out to my house two times in the past 13 months and it still don't work. AND, I'm out the cost of the doorbell PLUS $149 for The Geek Squad
