    Horrible Job to Install my Nest Hello

    They came, but it was a contracted installer from best buy. So it wasn't really geek squad but they contract these people out to install all video doorbells in the area. They installed my nest hello in less than 15 mins, without even turning the power off. Very botched installation.

    Install man could not install my doorbell because I needed a new transformer! I bought a new high voltage transformer! I will be hooking up my own door bell! Had a thermostat for the guy to hook up and could not do it!

    The first agent had not idea what they were doing. He told me that he got his training buy watching YouTube videos. He disconnected my old one but when he reconnected it (because they had to send someone else out) he did it wrong so my doorbell didn’t work for a week. Never again!!!

    The Arlo Video Doorbell does not work consistently

    I spent over an hour on the phone with ARLO service, and we tried everything. It might work and it stopped working. It is completely unreliable and I will be returning it. The ARLO customer service acknowledged problems with the video doorbell. I believe they rushed it to market without full vetting.

    Didn't finish the job.

    Extenders didn't come with Ring. He said he couldn't finish job and said it would be easy for us to install on our own. I don't feel the service was worthy of $90.00. Technician should have had extra parts. Moreover, when I checked status of order, it was documented as completed. Very poor.

    After the installer came, he scratch my new product and installed without turning on the power button so when i got home i had to unscrew and turn on for it to work. Trash service

    this wasn't a door bell install! A rep called me a couple of day before and sent an email which I told her that this was about a security camera system, they still sent the guy out 2 days later for a door bell install!

    Would not buy this item again. I wanted it connected to our actual doorbell wiring. Now we have to charge it every so often which is very frustrating. I wish we would have just replaced our doorbell with just a regular doorbell to be wired to my home instead. Lesson learned

    Installer never showed. Cancelled same day. Had to hire my own installer and pay out of pocket. Best Buy NEVER followed up. Was told someone would contact me.

    The doorbell was supposed to be hardwired, the doorbell battery died a few hours after he left. Had to recharge battery as the hardwired install was incorrect or not done at all I am not a happy customer!!!

    geek squad never set it up correctly damaged the door and put in in an incorrect place there are holes and i have not been able to anyone fix this to date not done correctly missing parts and damaged my door

    Your representatives did a poor job installing the front door bell - it did/does not sit flush. And they refused to help with the rear building Ring camera. They were in a very big hurry to leave.

    It wasn’t done by geek squad. Best Buy outsourced many of their installations with 3rd party morons. The guy hooked my ring up and left before it actually worked and hooked my solar powered ring security system in my shaded patio area that gets zero sunlight!

    Ive had 2 techs here already and neither was able to install. The last tech that was out here accidentally kept my battery to my ring . Now i have a device without a battery.

    This was the worst experience I ever had. After buying my Ring I was promised prompt installation, what happened was a nightmare the installation was cancelled 3 times all of these times we received an email the night of the day we were scheduled re-scheduling. I WANT MY INSTALLATION FEE BACK

    Contracted Geek Squad technician was not very knowledgeable about Ring doorbell installation. Recommended a 24V doorbell transformer. After that did not work, personal research revealed Ring doorbell requires 16V. Changed to 16V and doorbell worked.
