we are happy with it and are glad we got it. We had problems getting the installers to come but appreciate the help of the asst manager and the manager who helped to get things done.

The installation went fine, but the technician did not really get involved in setting up the device to work the way I would have liked it too particularly the way the salesman at Best Buy said this thing I do. I’m also this little disappointed in the device because I have to pay a subscription to use it the way it was advertised.

this is a great doorbell. It lets me know when someone is at my door even when I am not at home via text message and email. They can even leave a message for me, plus it works with my Arlo cameras. However, the chime could be louder.

Very difficult from the beginning. In checkout, there were no times available and required a customer service call to schedule. It turns out the work was subcontracted out and not done by Best Buy employees. The contractors were unable to complete the install. It seemed to be taking a very long time and they were frustrated and insisted I rush through any setup screens and just hit next in the app. Then the doorbell chime just started ringing without being activated and they did not know what was happening so they disconnected the doorbell. They insisted we needed a 16V doorbell transformer installed by an electrician to fix the issue and that was the problem because there was not enough power getting to the doorbell. They never checked to see if that was really the issue and abruptly left. We called and paid for an electrician visit. Unlike the installer he was a consummate professional and checked everything out. We already had the appropriate transformer and 20V going to the doorbell. It turns out after he investigated that the Best Buy contracted installers had stripped the wires leading to the doorbell and when screwed down it was shorting out the doorbell causing it to continuously ring. The electrician quickly fixed the issue and finished the install. Had a number of other great installs by Best Buy employees so even more disappointed in this one that resulted in us having to pay an electrician to fix the installers error.

We had an issue with our Arlo doorbell Geek Squad came out in just a few days and recalibrated it and it is working great. The Geek Squad Total Protection Package is a great deal
