The "pay as you go" option is great with teens as you are not committed monthly. Working out an arrangement for them to be responsible in the use & payment of their monthly phone expenses is a priceless lesson in money management. I pick up a card & they pay me back. If they neglect to do so, no card (or phone service) next month. Virgin Mobile's deal was good. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because the service is not a 5 in the area where we live. Sometimes there is just no signal. (However, we have yet to find a service that is consistent & affordable where we live)

Top up cards are the best. No hidden fees, great service, friendly customer service representatives. Have used Virgin Mobile for over 10 years !

This card is for the $35/month plan we established on my son's phone 2 years ago. He has unlimited data and texts. We require our children to pay for their own plans - encourages them to seek opportunities to earn $ by doing chores around the house. We do gift the cards for jobs well done, holidays, birthdays, etc - so the kids end up paying for only about half of the 12-cards needed each year. Overall, we are satisfied with this card plan. You do get a small grace period to reactivate (no additional charge) if the plan isn't renewed before the end of the current card cycle.

Easy to use and a very good value for someone with my small phone usage.

I need to top-up (pay for) my cell phone service every month anyway. Buying this card is the same price for me as paying through the Virgin Mobile website, but I also earn reward points doing it this way. Purchase online and it is just a quick easy pickup from the store (I go by there several times a month anyway). Never had any problems and has always worked fine.

Prepaid service are good option for me, I'm with virgin for years and I have to purchase the card monthly nothing to say I HAVE to buy it.

I get the Virgin Mobile prepaid cards. They have great plans w/ very reasonable rates. I have been w/ them for years & have no complaints.

We just wanted to get a phone for our daughter to use to call or text us if she was out or on the bus from school. Right now this or the $20 will work best!

Plain and simple. I pay $35.00 per month for no-contract and get the same service with my phone as people I know who pay $70- $125 per month with a contract.

Virgin Mobile phone has great service and the minutes are affordable.

I love using Virgin Mobile, but they don't allow for three way calling. The Virgin Mobile card is great when they are available. Best buy has stocking issue

Buying cards is much better than being in a contract with those other companies. I am very happy with the plan I have thru Virgin Mobile.

virgin mobile is a good pay as you go plan with no contract. They have pretty good customer service and the coverage is pretty decent

These top up cards are great if you are on a budget. You can upgrade your phone whenever you want without worrying about contracts.

Autopay through Virgin Mobile would be nicer for convenience, but some reviewers mentioned troubles with VM charging your card after you cancel service. With the top-up card purchased through Best Buy, you can get their rewards points and not pay the taxes you'd pay if you simply paid your bill to VM via credit card.

The virgin mobile $35 plan gives great value. You do not have to spend tons of money to get a data plan. This gives you 2.5gb, unlimited texting and 300 minutes.

Best Buy always has multiple denominations of top up cards so that I do not have to purchase more than I need.I appreciate that.
