Maybe for a child's first phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this plan first, but used up all my minutes in two weeks. I didn't feel I had talked very much at all, since I'm an older person, and don't spend a lot of time on the phone. I had to update and went with the $55 plan so I'd have unlimited talk.

What a hassle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just put the phone on auto-pay with a debit card. The top-up card takes a long time to use, you have to drive somewhere to purchase one every month, possibly have a long wait in line at the register, and then go through the hassle of typing in a lot of hard to read numbers and listening to a minute worth of garble while your phone updates itself. Furthermore, if you forget to by an up-card every month you may lose the operation of your phone. If you can, switch to autopay.
