I believe I get the best bang for my buck using Virgin Mobile. I use the top up cards to add my monthly service.

I have had Virgin Mobile for 7 years so far. The service has been good, the data seems to be bit on the slow side. Virgin runs on the Sprint network I believe. The only major problem I encountered was to my surprise on my recent trip to Fairbanks Alaska. Sprint has no towers in Alaska. The only service available was AT&T, a local provider, and Verizon which was VERY spotty since they just started to offer service in Alaska. Other than that I have been happy with the service.

Having a no contract phone it's always nice to know that Best Buy will have my top up cards in stock.

I've been satisfied with Virgin. Yes, there must be a monthly purchase of the "top-out" card, it gives me an excuse to go to Best Buy and browse. So far no problems with the service, top-out and the phone.

Easy to load up; just takes about one minute. You get a text to confirm. No problems while loading. It's all good.
