It doesn't read JPEGs and all memory cards. I gave it as a present and the purchase was a bad idea.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and when setting up experienced many problems. Some pictures will not load on to device and it jumps around different options without you pressing buttons. Highly upset with this purchase as it is defective.

The product would not show pictures off a computer or SD card. Was really looking forward to using but was VERY disappointed.

I bought this because it was bigger than other Digital Frames and because it was on sale. For the price I paid, I cannot complain. Picture quality is OK.

    Works, but requires effort

The first time I tried loading pictures on this frame, only about half of them actually showed up. These pictures were a mixture of photos downloaded off the internet and taken by my digital cameras. However, there was no pattern to what showed up and what didn't. It also didn't matter if they were on internal memory or SD card. I downloaded Fotosizer free and used it to resize all of my pictures to 800x600 while maintaining aspect ratio. After doing this, only one failed to display. Another bit of weirdness, at least with my computer, is that if you have an SD card inserted the first time plug it into your computer, the computer won't recognize the frame without the card. Make sure to leave the card out when plugging it in. Other than that, the pictures look pretty good (obviously, low res pics look blurry when blown up) and the frame itself is nice looking. Don't buy this if you want something to work really easily. If you don't mind a little effort, it's probably worth $50, no more.

Slightly hard to use Digital picture frame

Works great with camera photos, but we were purchasing for a gift for grandma. I downloaded a whole bunch of photos off of facebook from various family members, and then couldn't get them to play in the slideshow. Until I got smart. Downloaded the $5.99 MariusSoft Bulk Image Resizer shareware, resized everything to the 800x600 this frame displays, and voila! all my images showed up (a few strangly squished, but most look great!) My wife bought two of these. Recommend anybody who buys one to go to http://www.mariussoft.com and download/activate MariusSoft Bulk Image Resizer.

I bought this as a gift for my mother and she loves it. I set it up for her in a very short time. I loaded pictures from a variety of sources (ie Facebook, ancestry.com, my computer, etc.), saved them into a file, attached the included cable to my computer and downloaded all the pictures at once onto the frame. They came out in the proper orientation (landscape or vertical) and looked great. With a couple of button pushes it was showing all the pictures in a slideshow. The only thing I had to change was that a few of the pictures weren't showing up because they exceeded the size limit, so I had to go in and decrease the size on those photos and reload them. Still not hard to do.

Overall an amazing product for the price. Same overall specs as the HP or any other photo frame but at a lower price. Power cord is a little short but not bad overall.

Nice for the money but Mac users beware!

It is a great basic digital photo frame with various transition options. The display is clear and bright. My wife loves it! There are some issues if you have a Macintosh. The picture frame comes up as an unrecognizable device when attaching it via the included USB cable. I tried to reformat the internal memory (128MB) as MS-DOS format (since that would be the more "universal" format) and it still did not recognize the device. I ended up copying photos to an extra USB Flash Drive that I had lying around and attaching the flash drive to the USB port in the back of the frame. This ended up being a better option since the memory stick is 2GB. I copied 1,000 photos at the frame resolution of 800 pixels wide and that only took up 630MB. At that rate I can copy over appx. 2,500 more photos to the flash drive.

    Disappointing Transitions

I purchased this frame to replace my trusty old Pandigital frame. This one arrived a day late, but that wasn't a big problem. The remote only worked once, but that wasn't a real problem. The problem is that there is no option for a simple dissolve between photos. The options are quite annoying, amateurish effects like window blinds, checker boards, and weird wipes. What is so hard about a simple dissolve from one photo to the next? My old frame had that option and several more... and its technology was several years old! On the positive side, the picture quality is pretty good, and I like the fact that you must turn the frame on. Mine is plugged into a socket connected to a wall switch. With this feature, the frame doesn't come on every time I turn the lamp on. Don't bother checking the manual, it's a waste of paper. And technical or customer support? Good luck on that one; and informed buyer knows more about the products and the company than the workers appear to.

    Great Digital Photo Frame

After reading reviews I decided all digital frames were junk. I bought one at Walmart and it was horrible. Stopped by BB and got this one, took it home, plugged it in, stuck an SD. Card in the slot and it worked beautifully. I was shocked.

Purchased 2 of these at Christmas time since they were such a great price. Loaded photos on it and boy was I disappointed. All photos were blurry. I tried loading photos again with a different resolution but the clarity was still lacking. Purchased Panasonic frame instead and was very satisfied
