    Can't use Slide Show

I purchased this photo frame so that I could run a slide show in my art glass display case at the Figge Museum. The photo file names are named and numbered (Slide 1, Slide 2, Slide3 , etc.)so they can appear in a logical sequence. Only 34 photos were loaded into the internal memory. The intent of the photo file names was so they could be shown in ORDER! I have no idea what arbitrary order the photos are now arranged in but they are all mixed up and I can't change the order of the photos but this is what happens when photos are loaded into the internal memory - they are somehow spit out at random. I have purchased at least 5 different photo frames over the years to show this same slide show and never have had this problem. Most photo frames display the photos loaded to them in logical sequence but for this frame it is just $50 down the drain for my business show case! I hate surprises like this.

    Could be better

For the price this is an ok buy. If you're the type of person who will just take photos, pull out the memory card and insert it in the frame it works good. But, if you're the type who edits images using programs like photoshop or even basic edit software this will not play those images. Whats worse is if you go to the company website they do not offer any type of support for this frame, in fact I spent about an hour online searching for support or even a product description on their site and could not find anything. This is too bad because with a simple software update this could be a great buy. I'm returning it.

VistaQuest Digital Picture Framed - poor quality!

Originally bought an open box, thought that was the reason why some pictures didn't display. However, on the replacement, I had same problem. I'm an expert at photoshop, so I tried many different types and resolutions and there seemed no rhyme or reason why some pictures worked and most didn't. The default type is jpeg, I saved in low resolution (340x480), and in higher 600x800, and even higher. But nothing worked. Some pictures did show, but even those were blurry. The transfer is cumbersome as on usb to internal memory doesn't allow you to see the picture until you unplug usb cable. Unfortunately, I've see similar reviewers on other product like this, Maybe one day they will be better.

    Nice Poduct But Poor Service!

This is a Nice product and worked right out of the box, but my gripe is with Best Buy itself. The product was bought online because they no longer sell them in physical stores. When I received the item it was an open item. So I paid full price for a product that was open and the screws on the back of the digital picture frame were screwed in and out at the wrong angle. half the plastic that covers the screen was taken off and nothing was sealed in this box. A clear open item. I would recommend the item but buy the items in the store where you can see the quality of them first.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I created an account just to write this review. I bought this for a Christmas gift for my very computer-illiterate parents. Never in my life have I been so disappointed with a product - Yes, it's only $35 but I don't understand how a company can even put out a product like this. The stupid thing did not recognize half of my photos, and after wasting an hour trying to resize and change the resolution in photoshop - it still wont recognize the photos. I guess I should have listened to the reviews. In any case, this is a piece of garbage so don't waster your $35.

This is absolutely an awful frame.

This is a sincerely awful product. I read the other reviews and bought it thinking, "I'm good with technology, I can make it work". Wrong. I purchased for my girlfriend, but after hours of trying to get it to load some pictures... I succeeded with one picture. Couldn't find any rhyme or reason for it either. I tried changing resolution, picture size, files types, everything. Can't be done. All in all, only buy this frame if you really like one of the 3 stock photos it comes with cause that's all you're going to get to see. Wouldn't pay $1 for this.

I was very excited about this picture frame. It looks very nice and the image quality is not too bad. However it did not recognize most of the images I uploaded to it. I was very disappointing. I read online that several Mac users were having the same problem. My Mac recognized it fine, but it just didn't display most of my images. I used my moms Microsoft PC and I still had the same problem. I am very frustrated with it. I spent a long time trying to fix it without luck. I even reformatted, changed the pictures size, renamed the pictures, used a SD card.... and nothing worked!!! I am returning it ASAP!
