Safety shuts off blender under normal use.

When using the disks for slicing/shedding, it pulls the cheese/gegetables between the blade and lid, which forces the lid up and triggers the safety shutting off the blender.

Large chute for bigger veggies

I get really tired of cutting my veggies to small pieces just to get them in the chute. It cuts fast and does a great job.

It is a bit pricey and you have to make sure you have the correct base. There are a variety of Vitamix blender models so make sure yours is compatible with this.
