Really awesome product, but it is indeed very loud. I have read reviews on how Ascent is quieter than the other Vitamin series. But I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a roommate.

From smoothies, to milkshakes. From soups to grinding grains. Works top notch. Down fall is there is a lag time from pressing the blend button. Sometimes longer than expected.

Quite honestly I don’t use it to the fullest extent. I need to spend time playing with it. It is expensive and friends love it. So it just could be me.

Not only is this machine strong, but it makes a mean soup! Ive been through three blenders and i think i finally got the right one.

I got this for a family members wedding. They love it. I got a call on National margarita Day and they were bragging on how it made the best drinks and the ice could be crushed just right with a little practice. O well, as long as they are happy!

It’s a nice machine for old fruit and salsa. We usually have fruits laying around and this solves it right away. I manage to eat all the greens in one gulp

This blender is awsome! It is a bit expensive but worth it in the end it works well and I really like it.

I purchased this after years of wanting a Vitamixand I'm not disappointed! I bought the single serve containers and they blend smoothies perfectly. Made ice cream drinks for the adults and next is hot chocolate for the kids.

We have bought 2 of this blender one for us and one was a gift for my mother. We had this blender for almost 3 years and works graet. This blender can blend anything even a metal spoon.

Makes great smoothies. Haven't used it for much else. Motor not as strong as I hoped but gets the job done.

Seems to be working fine. Very important you put liquids in first. We have made a variety of hummus, drinks, etc. - no soups and nothing too extreme. Initially had some smell like it was overheating so we are nervous about how much to tax it. Taking it slow to ensure we don't burn it out. Not sure about the dollar value yet and if it deserved all the hype and price. Very well packaged with a recipe book. I am on the fence about it right now.

I use this a lot, but I did put cloves in it and no one should put them in this blender. There is now a film and it won’t come clean.

Not only is any Vitamix blender worth the money, but this one gives you three presets so you don't have to stand there and increase the speed on your own. I wish I hadn't waited so long to purchase this!

I had been searching and reading a lot of reviews, before I decided to purchase this blender.

I really Liked the mixer. It was pricey but it’s what my mother wanted and she only uses a few of the features but it a great mixer.

Vitamix is always my go to blender. The build quality, the design, it’s almost perfect. The price is the only scary part but I recommend looking at it as an investment for the kitchen.
