Best kitchen appliance I've ever owned. It is like a Jet! When it takes off it scares the bejesus out of my cat, every time! Don't bother spending money on cheaper ones, just go for Vitamix and enjoy the juices, smoothies, guac/salsa, etc. That self cleaning feature - it really is awesome and it works. Oh and if you want to grind nuts, this monster can do that for you.

It has all the gadgets, future-proof a little AND it blends anything. Makes great Acai bowls from frozen with just a little added liquid. AMAZING! The motor is large and not as loud as anticipated. The sound dampening is good and this is certainly not as loud as my previous Kitchen Aid. Thumbs up and Bottoms Up!
