It is great for smoothies, green juices, salsas, etc. The only thing that I would change to this item? I would make the chord plug a little bit longer.

I live alone and the 48 ounce container is plenty for me to have a large smoothie with extra to spare. It blends very well and is low maintenance. I have yet to experience any issues.

This was a good price and much cheaper than my previous model. I don’t need all the digital bells and whistles of the higher priced models. Just simple and compact enough to fit on my countertops. As always built with the Vitamix quality. Will not go to any other brand....besides these pretty much last forever.

It handles,about everything I’ve thrown at it, I’ve owned nutribullet, and ninja but this is definitely better blade wise. I only give it 4 stars because of its bulky/heaviness. I’m excited to see the longevity of the vitamix.
