Replacement with a smaller Vitamix

Recently when I was operating the machine, I did a foolish thing by tried to remove a piece of an apple wedged in the handle. My finger was stuck and turning purple so I violently shook the machine in panic. finger was dislodged but damaged the machine permanently.

I've only gone as far as speed level 6 to get the smooth consistency I need. I'd recommend spending that extra bucks to het this good blender. It's worth the money. I bought this blender because this is the brand they use at the hospital where I work for blending food for patients on pureed diet.

Beginner series blender

Motor stopped working. We returned and got the second one. Second one has worked so far for 10 days. It is a beginner series Explorian. Professional series is better and that comes with bigger jar which makes it ugly but better motor. This one is ok to blend juice. But after paying 350$ and when the first one failed in two weeks, we were thinking about our Osterizer blender that we bought for 20$ and working fine for 20$. We feel these vitamix series is overpriced and for the price it should operate without any issues.
