Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the overall performance and power of the Explorian E310 Blender. They appreciate that it is easy to use and that the noise level is minimal. The size is also good for fitting under a cabinet. However, some customers would prefer a removable blade and a container made of a different material than plastic.

Very good quality. Blended through my smoothies in less than a minute vs a couple minutes with my typical blender. Nothing seems to slow the blades down. Vitamix's website has some awesome recipes. I tried some smoothies and soups. It's crazy that the friction from the blender causes enough heat to produce soup. The top is tight enough to prep smoothies the night before. I'd like it a little more if it had a glass container instead of plastic. Best blender I've ever used. I feel like you could grind rocks with it.

I'm sold on the E310 from Vitamix. This blender is easy to use and impressive to watch in action. Simply add ingredients (in the suggested order), flip the switch, and then slowly turn the speed dial to the desired speed for the proper consistency. Adding greens into fruits, yogurt, etc. and turning it into a tasty smoothie is effortless. Cleanup is straightforward: blend some dish soap with tap water and then rinse - 1 minute, tops. The machine is heavy and stable, and its no-frills design is crafted nicely to handle the impressive high velocity blending action. Its combination of clutter-free design, reliable functionality, and easy cleanup make the Vitamix E310 an easy recommendation. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

I have owned this for 45 days and the nut inside the dial came loose and the shaft is stripped. Love the blender, but 45 days?

the good -solid construction, feels very durable and well made of quality materials. only time will tell how well it holds up, but it certainly feels nicer and blends better than any other blender i've owned. -as with most blenders, pulse and constant on settings, but very fine control over speed via a dial (similar to something like a volume knob) -lid/tamper feature - restricted from the blades by a collar and the lid -power to spare - could probably blend concrete (but please don’t) -ability to actually make hot mixes, i.e. soup, just with the friction created by the blades the bad -no timer feature - at this price point, would’ve been nice, but not a huge deal overall -highly recommended, fantastic blender

I still can not believe the difference between the Vitamix blender and my Ninja. It's like they are not even in the same category. The Vitamix is by far the fastest blender I have used. The time to make my smoothies in the Vitamix compared to the Ninja is 1/3 of the time. Plus it is easier to clean. The one thing that has taking some getting used to is that the container does not lock in to the base. I felt very uneasy about that at first - but I have had no issues and am slowly getting used to it. It is very easy to assemble and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality high powered blender.

Powerful and definitely built to last

My wife and I were somewhat familiar with the Vitamix brand but when it came to blending duties, typically thought products like bullet-this and ninja-that were good enough. After using the E310, it's amazing how much of a difference there is. But let's begin with appearances and first impressions. The E310 has a very straightforward, industrial design with an on/off switch, a speed selector knob, and a pulse switch. All controls are large in size. The base has a very hefty weight to it, which exudes the feeling that it is built like a tank and will not have any issues within the 5-year warranty period. The included 48-ounce container also feels sturdy and has a rubber cap that clamps on. This makes it much easier to attach and remove in a hurry without having to worry about a threaded cap. When it comes to use, this thing has power. With 10 speeds to choose from, it seems to make fine work out of anything you throw in it. A tamper is also included, but the piece that attaches the tamper to the blender for storage is apparently optional. Optional does seem to be the key word here. Vitamix offers quite a few optional accessories ranging from blend-and-go type container cups to the previously mentioned tamper holder. Overall though, you do get everything needed to perform effort-free blending with something that looks and feels like it is built to last. It is also engineered and assembled in the USA, if that is something that appeals to you.

The Best Manually Operated Blender on the Market!

The Vitamix Explorian Series E310 Blender is well built and as heavy as a commercial blender. The motor is extremely powerful, with a manual range from one to ten. The higher you allow the speed, the finer the blend will become. A pulse function is also included, for gradual controlled chopping. Unlike other blenders, there are no specialty automatic functions available that are for specific recipes or functions, such as a smoothie, juicing, dough, soup control, etc. Everything is manual. I made a smoothie, whole fruit juice, walnut butter and soup. The great point about making soup is that the Vitamix Explorian Series E310 Blender heats up the raw products during the blending process. The key is learning the variable speeds to use for the type of food you are making. The Vitamix Explorian Series E310 Blender can perform every task in the kitchen. It can do more than what I have done so far. It is really all that is needed in the kitchen as it performs as a food processor and a blender. The Website gives hundreds of recipes and instructions on making all food types, to enhance your usage of The Vitamix Explorian Series E310 Blender. It is definitely the best manually operated blender on the market!

I've never owned a Vitamix blender before but I'm glad I am now. The amount of power this blender has is awesome. It will make short work of anything that needs blending. What really surprised me was how quiet it is. I couldn't believe it. The thing is built like a tank and is larger than I thought. So naturally I was expecting it to be very loud. It wasn't at all. Everything about this blender is solid, very well built and works so well. If you're in the market for a beast blender then look no further. Seriously.

This blender is awesome! I couldn’t understand why so many people love Vitamix blenders so much. The price is definitely justified with this machine. It’s made the most consistent smoothies, and never once jammed or slowed down. The varying levels of speed and the pulse control seem satisfying as you begin blending. It’s also surprisingly easy to clean. I never thought I’d love a blended, but now that I have this one, I can’t imagine ever spending money on any other blender appliance.

    Vitamix…the better (best?) “blender”

As an owner of an older Vitamix, I already knew the Explorian Series E310 would be an excellent product. While it doesn’t have as many features/functions as my 6300 (which sells for twice the price), it does offer everything you need in a basic Vitamix …and MORE. To call this, or any other Vitamix machine a “blender” is a serious understatement…you can not only blend, but can make everything from frozen desserts to hot soups. Now that I have two Vitamix machines, I can simultaneously make soup for dinner, as well as dessert. Before buying my first Vitamix, I did a lot (again, an understatement) of research, primarily comparing Vitamix, Blendtec, and Ninja. After reading a few reviews & comparisons, the Ninja was quickly eliminated from contention. It took a lot more reviews & comparisons to finally realize that Vitamix was just a better product. Getting back to the E310, the Explorian Series is a new “entry-level” Vitamix series, to be positioned below their Ascent & Legacy Series, but above the Personal Series. If you’re looking for a “power blender”, I can tell you, right off the bat, remove Ninja from your list – the only real contenders are Vitamix & Blentec. Now, if you’re trying to decide between these two brands, you can do all the research you want, and, chances are, you’ll come to the same conclusion as the majority of others doing the same thing – Vitamix is a better product, Vitamix products offer better warranties, and Vitamix products last longer. Would I recommend the E310? In short, if you want the best power-blender brand, but want to keep costs to a minimum, the Vitamix Explorian E310 is the answer. Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or somewhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.

Great blender for making smoothies. I was interested in this blender for making smoothies and shakes. Works great. I tried the simple recipes in the enclosed pamphlet, and found it very easy to make smoothies and shakes. Blender did a great job of blending fruits and ice, with no problems. The blender looks pretty good. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.

Love vitamix. Sold construction. Does a great job blending. Use it mostly for making smoothies. Frozen fruits and veggies and it blends so quickly and smooth. Easy clean up. We have made ice cream in it as well. Super easy to use and wonderful construction. Very sturdy. A bit loud but I think is to be expected.

This is a great blender. I drink two smoothies a day and I pack my blender with lots of food. This blender was easily able to handle kale with the stalk, frozen whole strawberries, half a lemon with the grind, half a line with the grind, chia and frozen blue berries. This blender really mixes everything up and gives it a nice smooth consistency. To further test the blender I put in whole seed chia and grinder it up. The seeds turned fine and didn't get caught in the middle or heat up to much and become gooey. I liked that there are 10!different speeds to use so that you can change it while blending to make sure that you get a smooth blend and the pulse feature works well too. The only thing I wish is that it had some pre programmed setups so I could multi task as I make my breakfast and lunch while making my smoothie. Clean up was nice and easy and there are not a lot of crevices for the food to get caught in too make clean up difficult.

Really nice mixer, a bit on the small side

So I got the Vitamix and did the initial cleaning. I then proceeded to give it a workout. My mom loves kimchi, but doesn't have the teeth to chew cabbage anymore. I took two large leaves of kimchi and cut it up into pieces. Most mixers sound like they're dying when you try this, but the Vitamix would blend/mince the kimchi as long and I continue to mix it by hand, getting pieces to contact the blade. I was pretty happy with that. I tried the reverse a few times and it would get an extra chop in there, but I need to use a chop stick to move the cabbage down. The Vitamix tool didn't seem to do what I wanted it to, so I went to the chopstick. All in all, it did the job and better than my other mixers including the Jack LaLanne unit. If there are any cons to the mixer, it would be the cord doesn't wind up and fit the bottom very well. The cord is a bit long and it's tough to push the plug into the base for storage. The rubber lid is bulky and not the easiest to use. Also the jar is on the small side compared to other Vitamix units and the Jack LaLanne unit. Obviously that's being petty and the unit overall is a great unit.

This Vitamix E310 Blender was an excellent addition to my kitchen. I've had quite a few blenders that failed to do the job, either because they weren't powerful enough, or the blades weren't designed well enough to produce a passable product. However, this blender does the job no problem at all. The variable speed sure makes it nice and easy to decide how things are blended. It's a lot less up to chance versus a traditional blender with multiple blend settings, where you're never sure what it'll do. There's not much negative to say about this blender. It's very well constructed and feels quite robust. I'm very happy with my blender, and would certainly recommend it to my friends.
