I think that since the TVs today are so thin that the speakers don't have the power to get the job done. So no matter how high you raise the volume you still can't hear the TV. Just needed some extra sound without the extra bass. If you are looking for heavy bass then this is not for you.

Bought a new TV that did not have a headphone out jack and tried using the Digital Audio out port with the old bar. Had to go into settings every time to enable that old sound bar. What a pain. So went back to BB and found this model that had HDMI-Arc port that would work with my new TV. Again very happy with it's performance,
